Theaflavin
Standardized Extract
30 vegetarian capsules
Item # 01304 |
Black tea is packed with antioxidants. Those found
in black teas, theaflavins & thearubigins, have researchers excited
about their potential health benefits, including support for arterial
health.
What Is Theaflavin Standardized Extract?
Do you want the antioxidant benefits of tea, but
don’t have the time to brew a cup on a regular basis? Our Theaflavin
Standardized Extract formula is a convenient way to get the benefits
that come from the flavonoids found in black tea.
The flavonoids in black tea, theaflavins and
thearubigins, can help maintain already-healthy cholesterol levels.
Theaflavin Standardized Extract Benefits
Theaflavin Standardized Extract contains a number of
beneficial flavonoids found in tea leaves. Scientists have found that
black tea flavonoids can help scavenge free radicals, maintain oxidation
and anti-oxidation pathways, and help inhibit oxidative stress to
molecules throughout the body.
An increasing number of scientists recognize the need to help support
the arterial wall against low-density lipoprotein (LDL) oxidation to
support arterial health. Research has shown that compounds present in
black tea called theaflavins and thearubigins can have multiple
applications for supporting arterial health. Theaflavin Standardized
Extract contains a number of beneficial flavonoids found in tea leaves.
Scientists have found that black tea flavonoids, including
theaflavins and thearubigins, can help scavenge free radicals, maintain
oxidation and anti-oxidation pathways, and help inhibit oxidative stress
to molecules throughout the body. In particular, theaflavins and
thearubigins have been shown to support lipids against oxidative stress
and maintain already-healthy lipid and glucose levels.
Black tea and its flavonoids
have been found in human studies to help support against LDL-cholesterol
oxidation and favorably promote endothelial function, thus helping to
maintain healthy circulation. In addition, black tea extracts have been
found to support normal cell division, modulate an important enzyme
involved in gene expression, and help inhibit inflammation to support
cellular health.
